Do Good? Or More than Good?

“Every success is built on the ability to do better than good enough.”

I am not sure who originated this quote, but it speaks to everyone’s values.  Where do your values fall on this spectrum?

Do you do just enough to get by?  Or do you provide what you would like to receive? Or do you go beyond the call of duty?

What standard do you set for yourself?  Good enough?  Or more than good enough?

It’s a question every employee should ask themselves and frequently. Do I want to do enough to just get by or do I want to do the best job I can. I think for some people, getting a paycheck is enough. I like to hope for most people that doing the best that they can at every task no matter how big or small, is important, but so often now the pay check is the most important aspect of a job, and jobs are no longer careers.
